My name is Connor McGinnis and I’m equal parts human, musician, web developer, and gluten
avoider. Since
2019 I’ve been swimming in the endless sea of web development, web design, and software engineering soaking
up all I can.
I am a graduate of Burlington Code Academy located in beautiful Burlington, Vermont and
haven’t skipped a day of coding since. When I’m not expanding my web development and design skills, I’m
usually playing guitar, going for a run
alongside Lake Champlain, being a subpar skateboarder, or planning my next adventure.
I’m currently available for freelance work, so feel free to reach out and tell me what we can partner on!

One of my first forays into the world of React and the Google Maps API - go anywhere, take a look at restaurants, hotels, and even some interesting, off the beaten path attractions. What started as an exercise actually led to me using this to find some new places to explore!
Do What
My instructor at Burlington Code Academy always said, “Start your software development career by solving a problem”, and one of my problems was having too many post-it notes on my desk at one time. So save yourself some money and use this React-based To-Do application. It uses local storage to save your To-Dos in the browser.
Doom Cafe
Doom Cafe is not a real cafe (but someday, maybe?), but in essence, I created this site as an exercise to learn the ins-and-outs of WordPress. It’s an ever-changing site that I have a blast fine-tuning and tweaking as my WordPress ability expands.
